Answers for our forest

We all want answers -
Our forests are in a mess

Leaders lie
Loggers try
To escape the truth

It's too complex
To learn in class
It's too easy to ignore

But follow the tracks
They  cover up more and more and more

Still complex are the lies
I'm on the edge of my seat
Pale and frail wondering if we will ever win

Can we close all the files and win our case
Stop the gases and the anger burning within?

  1. I don't think we can close all the files just yet, but hopefully someday.

  3. Strong piece! Activism helps, but it might take an army of peaceful action to change the mind set that drives our desire for destruction...all under the guise of comfort, and being at the top of the food chain. Sigh. You got me thinking this morning...that's a good thing. Thanks.

  5. There is an answer but it is not a quick fix. We must stop logging old growth forests and only use plantation timber planted specifically for the purpose. This will ensure essential habitats are maintained and that only timber grown specifically for a purpose is felled. It is a pity that industry and finance do not have brains. It would help if governments were on side but sadly they rely of the baddies for support.
